For 911 Call Takers
Read Every Word of a Call You Don't Speak
ConveyConnect+ puts an interpreter on your screen, not just on the line. See the conversation as it happens, speak to the caller before an interpreter connects, and stop waiting for someone to repeat it all back to you.
No cost. No contract. No hardware.
The Call Taker's Problem, Not the Mission Statement
The big version of this is about helping people who don't speak English. True — and not why you'd buy it.
The version that matters at 2 a.m. is that non-English calls are the hardest calls your center takes. You ask a question. An interpreter relays it. The caller answers, at length. Then the interpreter repeats all of it back to you — paraphrased, sometimes wrong, sometimes with an opinion attached.
You are relying on one person, on the phone, who may be tired or rushed, summarizing five minutes of speech from memory. Nobody could do that accurately. And you can't hear whether they did.
A call that should take five minutes takes twenty-five, and you can't tell which parts you're missing.
Every Interpreted Call Has Four Legs. One of Them Is Just Waiting.
- 1
You ask the question
- 2
The interpreter relays it to the caller
- 3
The caller answers
This is the long one.
- 4
The interpreter voices all of it back to you
This is the leg that disappears.
Leg four is the interpreter repeating what you could already have read. It's also where accuracy goes: the longer leg three runs, the more of it gets summarized instead of interpreted.
On-screen transcription removes leg four. You read the answer while the caller is still giving it, and dispatch can start rolling before the interpreter finishes.
Shorter calls. Fewer interpreter minutes. And you can see what you were previously taking on trust.
You Hit the Quick Dial. An Interface Opens.
Most language lines are a phone number. You dial, you wait, you hope. ConveyConnect+ runs alongside the call and shows you where you are.

What’s the address of your emergency?
¿Cuál es la dirección de su emergencia?
Four hundred Market Street, apartment three.
Calle Market cuatrocientos, apartamento tres.
The caller says 400 Market Street, apartment 3.
Tell me exactly what happened.
Dígame exactamente qué pasó.
Call status, live
Active, connecting, connected, in progress. You know where you are instead of guessing.
Who you're talking to
Interpreter ID, the language pair, and whether you're on the AI or a human.
An Interpreter at Your Fingertips
Type anything and it's spoken to the caller in their language — before an interpreter is on the line. The caller stays on the phone, you get the address, and dispatch starts moving. It's called type-to-talk.
Templated messages are one tap:
“One moment while we connect an interpreter. Please do not hang up.”
Un momento mientras conectamos a un intérprete. Por favor, no cuelgue.
“What’s the address of your emergency?”
¿Cuál es la dirección de su emergencia?
“Tell me exactly what happened.”
Dígame exactamente qué pasó.
Three prompts, not four. If they tell you what happened, you already know who to send.
Interpretation That Answers Immediately
The AI interpreter picks up as soon as you select the language. It repeats what you say to the caller in their language, and what they say back to you in yours — verbatim, not summarized.
It works like a human interpreter, except it's always there. When a call needs a person, it escalates to one.
The AI layer is what separates ConveyConnect+ from ConveyConnect. Base ConveyConnect connects you to certified human interpreters directly.
Subtitle the Conversation
Both sides of the call, in text, as it's spoken — the caller's language and English, side by side. Like watching a foreign show with subtitles on.
You follow along instead of waiting for the readback. When the caller says an address, you see the address. When the interpreter paraphrases, you can tell.
The transcript stays on the call record afterwards, and can be exported when a records request calls for one.
In development
When the Call Runs Long, You Don't Miss a Detail
A running summary of the call in plain English, updating as it goes. Long calls stop being something you have to hold in your head.
Labeled as in development deliberately — see the copy deck. Cheap to promote once confirmed.
Trained Humans, When You Want One
Certified human interpreters, reachable in under 10 seconds on average, across 200+ languages — from a network of 70,000+, with 24/7 nationwide redundancy.
The AI handles the opening. A person handles the call that needs one. You are not choosing between them.
A Feedback Loop That Doesn't Leave You Helpless
We have all had a bad interpreter and no way to say so — a support ticket into a company that never follows up.
Rate the interpretation after each call, on the keypad or on screen. Add a note if something went wrong. It's recorded against that interpreter and it's visible.
For the Person Signing the Invoice
Everything above is for the call taker. This part is for whoever has to justify it.
